  • Welcome to Our Religious Education Classes for Kindergarten Students!
Our Religious Education program includes a Kindergarten class at 9 AM or 11 AM on Sundays.  These classes focus on life, creation, Mary and Jesus and the Church. Formal prayer (Sign of the Cross and the Hail Mary) and informal prayer are also part of the experience.
To be part of this program, come in to register or call and we will mail out a registration form.  All new registrants must be registered parishioners
and are required to provide a baptismal certificate, if the baptism did not occur here at SJP
  • Fr. English Center Collection: June 16/17, 2018

Each year our Christian Service Committee organizes a toy collection for underprivileged children who attend the Father English summer program in
Paterson.  Once again, we have decided to undertake this well-received program by holding another toy collection on June 16 & 17th.

We are requesting NEW toys which can be used to entertain youngsters both indoor and outdoors. Suggested items include bubbles, balls, chalk, crayons, coloring books, puzzles, Frisbees, hula-hoops, along with any arts and crafts supplies. Your generosity in the past has been overwhelming, and we look forward to your participation once again.

Please deposit your donation in the bin provided in the rear of the church on the designated weekend, June 16 – 17th. As always, your generosity is a true blessing for those less fortunate than ourselves.

  • LAST IN THIS SERIES!! Commentary (Instructional) Mass: June 17 @ 12Noon
Next Sunday, June 17 at the 12 Noon Mass, Fr. Tom will provide reflections on each part of the Holy Mass as he celebrates it.
This approach, sometimes called “instructional Mass,” has proven to be a valuable way for congregation members of all ages to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of the liturgy and the Holy Eucharist in that most Christian of ways—through the experience of praying what we believe!
